Welcome to the paclink-unix development site.

Purpose

paclink-unix is a UNIX client interface to the Winlink 2000 email system for ham radio.

Status

The project is still in its infancy, and although it is basically functional, it is not a polished production-ready system.

There is very little documentation and you're pretty much on your own when it breaks (and it will!)

Here are some other projects related to Winlink 2000 for Linux and UNIX systems. These projects are completely independent of paclink-unix, so please direct any inquiries appropriately.

The LinuX-RMS-GateWay project is a Winlink 2000 Telpac/RMSGW implementation for Linux. It obsoletes the older telpac-node project.
JNOS2 is an AX.25 software suite for Linux. It supports the B2F protocol for interoperability with the Winlink 2000 system.
